Progress Testing in the Emirates

As part of the National Agenda Parameter, schools are required to complete one benchmark assessment with their students in mathematics, science and English.  To support schools to meet these requirements, our Progress Tests in maths, English and science are available for schools following UK, IB, Pakistani, Canadian and Philippine curriculum for attainment testing.

This page is intended to support you to successfully complete testing with your students, and ensure that the results we are submitting to regulators on your behalf are correct and up to date.

Testing Requirements 2017/18

Testing window:

29th April to 28th June 2018

Please Note: Your testing results data for all tests completed within the testing window will be used for reporting to regulators. Records and results will be extracted on 29th June

Progress Tests Level 15 (beta) 

The results from testing conducted in this period will be used for standardisation, therefore instant reporting through Testwise will not be available initially. Testing results and International Comparators will be sent to schools separately in September 2018.

How to order your tests

Progress Tests Level 15 (beta) – Credits redeemed to be refunded

Due to data from these tests being used for standardisation, schools will be refunded the credits used to test students at this level. Credits will be refunded once testing is completed. Credits will be refunded once testing is completed and added to a new subscription ready for the 2019 testing period.

Access to Progress Tests

To ensure student attainment is accurately assessed, schools will not receive access to the tests for student assessment or to view their content until 22nd April.  Please find further support information below regarding timescales, and the content and format of testing, to assist with your preparations.

Support with Testwise and Creating and Updating Student Records

It is essential that the data you enter is accurate, and meets the requirements of regulators, ready for submission. Please ensure that your student records are up to date, and cohort numbers are correct. Your data will be extracted for submission to regulators on 29th June.

You can also use this opportunity to include further information about your students, making deeper analysis of results much easier. Please see guides below for more information.
