Analysing Data to Support Teaching and Learning

Saturday 12 May, 11:00 - 12:00

This session will offer an exposition of how combining data from assessments of ability, attitude and attainment provides schools with a unique picture of each student that supports the delivery of personalised teaching and learning and informs effective wellbeing initiatives.

Jessica Watson, one of GL Education’s training consultants, will explain the key concepts and then guide delegates through hands on analysis of sample student data to determine the learning and wellbeing support needs of each individual.

By the end of the session participants will recognise the value of combining data on student ability and attitudes to understand what lies behind individual performance in the classroom and will know the next steps they need to take to access the appropriate assessments for their students.
