Education Wales Summit 2017

Education Wales Summit 2017

Tuesday 16 May, 09:00 - 17:00

We are delighted to be a sponsor of the Education Wales Summit 2017. Organised by The Education Foundation, the event will bring together educators from across Wales to celebrate all that is good about education in Wales, to share what works and be ambitious about the future.

Guest speakers include Steve Davies (Director of Education, Welsh Government), Kellie Williams (Digital leader, North Wales School Effectiveness & Improvement Service), Ed Dorrell (Deputy Editor, TES) and representatives from schools across Wales. One of our partners, Finola Wilson, Director of Impact Wales, will also be joining a panel discussion on the theme, ‘Where next for assessment and accountability?’ (2.20pm – 2.45pm).

You can read about how our assessments are supporting schools in Wales elsewhere on our website. Our two most recent case studies are with Tonyrefail Primary in the Rhondda Valley and St Julian’s School in Newport.

Read more about the conference here or send an email to rowan@ednfoundation.org to book your place.
