Effective use of CAT4 and Progress Tests for impact in the classroom

Tuesday 03 October, 09:00 - 15:00

For schools using both CAT4 and Progress Test Series Assessments

This workshop runs in parallel with day 1 of the IPSEF conference and offers practical guidance on one of the themes of the conference – the effective use of assessment.

Separate registration is required for this workshop.

Provide ideas on how your teaching team can use CAT4 and Progress Tests effectively.

“The most important thing is that understanding has to be with the teachers” - Tim Richardson, Head of Primary, Dubai International Academy.

  • Develop understanding of how assessment data & reports from CAT4 and Progress Tests can be used by:
    • senior leaders
    • class teachers
  • Initiate the use of the school’s own data to  create action plans to support teaching and learning

  • Each school  will have “action plans” in development
