Hundreds of thousands of children’s wellbeing could be ‘at risk’, with boys just as vulnerable as girls, says a new study published by GL Assessment.
According to our analysis of over 850,000 7 to 14-year-olds almost a fifth of children have negative feelings towards school and struggle with issues like self-regard and their perceived capabilities as learners.
In this webinar, Hilary Fine from GL Assessment and Laurence Cole from Greenwood Academy in Birmingham will explain why these, often hidden, attitudinal issues can have a big impact on attainment and are precisely the negative attitudes that practitioners fear put children’s wellbeing at risk.
