Effective use of data for teaching and learning

Effective use of data for teaching and learning

Saturday 06 May, 11:00 - 12:30 BST

The theme for this year's conference is Transformations

Matthew Savage, Acting Principal, the International Community School, Amman, introduces #themonalisaeffect as he sets out the importance of capturing and understanding data on student ability, attainment and attitudes to develop a true and comprehensive picture of each student.

Drawing on his experience in international schools in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, he will show how to collate and analyse the data; and how to share the key messages to the benefit of all stakeholders.

Matthew will show how, through smart and strategic interventions, this information can help catalyse and maximise both achievement and wellbeing for every student in your school.

Paul Montague and Alison Winter will then offer a short introduction to the assessment tools that underpin this analysis.
