Children's Mental Health & Psychological Wellbeing - Enjoyment

Helping to ensure children enjoy their childhood and school life is an aim that seems obvious. Whilst objective indicators are available to assess attendance, standards of behaviour and rates of further education, they don’t tell us anything about levels of enjoyment.

This book includes a number of straightforward questionnaires which you can use to access and assess your child’s individual experience and perceptions of enjoyment. These questionnaires tap into the positive experiences of present happiness, past contentment and satisfaction, and future hope and optimism.

Enjoyment is part of the Measures of Children’s Mental Health and Psychological Wellbeing series. Other titles include Belonging, Distress, Healthy Living, Resilience, Responsiveness and Social Behaviour.
