CAT4 Masterclass for Principals: Ensuring your school is using CAT4 data to drive school performance

This masterclass has been developed specifically to inform and advise Principals of schools within the UAE that are using the CAT4 assessment which is mandatory for private schools. 

Objectives of the seminar:

  • Ensure Principals understand the range, depth and value of the CAT4 reports and how the data can support their school improvement strategies.
  • Demonstrate the importance of designating a member of their senior leadership team to be a Head of Assessment to ensure effective use of data
  • Provide an action plan for Principals to embed good assessment practice throughout their school by
    • Identifying a Head of Assessment
    • Participating in planned assessment training workshops
    • Using the training materials within the school to improve general teacher understanding and develop more assessment leaders or super-teachers
  • Highlight how CAT4 data can be used alongside attainment data to provide additional insight to support school evaluations and development plans.

We are pleased to announce that a representative of the Ministry of Education will attend the event as an observer.

This seminar is free of charge, but registration is essential. Please note: if you are unable to attend and do not inform us, there will be a charge of £25 to cover catering costs.
