CDS and the Curriculum for Wales

Monday 01 April, 09:30 - 13:00

The Complete Digital Solution combines our most popular assessments which together measure reasoning skills, progress in core subjects year on year, and identify barriers to learning. Working with our training partners, Impact Wales, our free half-day workshop will provide you with:

  • An introduction to the different assessments within the Complete Digital Solution (CDS)
  • An understanding of how the assessments can support pupil progress in the context of the new Curriculum for Wales, as well as helping to identify barriers to learning, suggest interventions and reduce teacher workload
  • A specific focus on how our PASS pupil attitudes survey and the New Group Reading Test (NGRT) can be used to support curriculum provision in line with Successful Futures and how they complement the National Tests in Wales

You’ll also hear first-hand from teachers like you about their experience of using our assessments and the impact they have had in their schools. Our guest speakers include:

  • Elizabeth Prescott, Deputy Headteacher, Gabalfa Primary School in Cardiff
  • Nick James, Exams Data Officer, Dylan Thomas Community Secondary School in Swansea
