Effective Use of CAT4 Data for Learning and Teaching, Northern Emirates

Sunday 14 January, 09:00 - Tuesday 16 January, 13:00

Understanding and using CAT4 reports

These workshops are designed to support new users in analysing CAT4 reports and in understanding the implications for teaching and learning in their school.

Key concepts will be explained with the use of case study material and schools will be supported in analysing their own data. The session will be interactive and delegates will be encouraged to develop action plans to ensure that the data can have an immediate impact in their school.

  • Understand how assessment data & reports from CAT4 can be used by:
    • senior leaders
    • class teachers
  • Initiate the use of the school’s own data to  create action plans to support teaching and learning
  • Consideration will be given to how CAT4 and Progress tests align in order to benchmark and measure progress.

Outcomes:

  • Each school  will have “action plans” in development

This session is for schools that assessed students with CAT4 for the first time during October 2017 – January 2018.
