‘MAP data uses the scores students achieve to place students in five categories of attainment, while CAT4 uses the test data to place students in five ability groupings, with some sub-divisions. We overlaid these five MAP and CAT4 divisions to produce a meaningful insight into students’ attainment in MAP versus their cognitive ability.’

Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Boys (SZPAB) is a fee-paying school in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE), providing a curriculum to students founded on the American Common Core Standards.

In this webinar John Conway, the principal of the school, explains how he compared cognitive ability data from CAT4 with attainment data to identify group and individual learning support needs.
