Our Events

GL Assessment host and attend a series of events, conferences and exhibitions during the year across the UK.

Our events highlights of the year include two National Assessment Conferences, one based in London and one in Manchester.  Our aim is to cover policy updates plus practical hands on assessment advice in dedicated Primary, Secondary and Multi-Academy Trust streams.  Speakers to date have included Sir David Carter (National Schools Commissioner) and the Rt. Hon David Laws (Executive Chairman of the Education Policy Institute), plus a number of practitioner experts from our Centres of Assessment Excellence.

Hayley Dibb, International Consultant at GL Education, will outline the way the assessment works, explain the reports and discuss some of the other assessments and resources that can support your literacy programme.

The importance of capturing and understanding data on student ability, attainment and attitudes to develop a true and comprehensive picture of each student


The session is specifically designed to address the challenges faced by principals and senior leaders.


Stephany Herzog, Elementary Learning Support Coordinator, will present on the American International School Abu Dhabi Case Study.


This will explain how schools can triangulate attitudinal data to gain a greater understanding of the individual student

Led by Hayley Dibb, International Consultant for GL Education, the session is aimed at schools who offer a variety of curricula and are looking for ways of using data to inform teaching and learning, enhance academic performance and support parental engagement.
